OUR MISSION
RAD’s non-profit mission is to provide seasoned and emerging singer-songwriters with high quality, low-cost recordings of their work, along with career and artistic development and support. RAD is devoted to developing talented artists, who otherwise would not have access to a professional producer and recording facilities, especially shining a light on LGBQ and Trans/Non-binary Artists. By giving access and opportunity, RAD is helping individual artists to create their music, contributing to the development of American popular music and promoting the recording arts.

RAD is dedicated to developing and supporting recording artists in a professional and supportive environment. RAD offers a variety of recording sessions, workshops and services. Record one song or an EP or CD! Beginning and experienced artists in all genres are welcome to explore RAD programs and services for recording, producing, mixing, mastering your music, as well as developing your skills and talent.

Meet some RAD artists
Blaise Vacca
Blaise’s song “Capsized” was Grammy nominated for Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals in 2022. Produced by Phil Carroll and Recording Artists Development
Blaise Vacca is an actor, comedian, and singer-songwriter from the Bronx who loves to connect through humor and vulnerability. They’ve been writing music for over a decade and studied studio composition at SUNY Purchase. Their songs meditate on themes of faith, queerness, and connection. Blaise is honored to have worked on their EP “The Earth Turns” with RAD under a Sylvia Rivera scholarship for trans/nb artists.
Blaise originated the role of Tyler in “Prospect Hill: A New Queer Musical” by Mark Galinovsky and Lily Ali-Oshatz dir. Jessi Hill (Piper Theater). They’re also a director with MOXIE: The Women, Trans, & Non-Binary Sketch Lab (Magnet Theater), and a performer with award-winning arts education group Story Pirates / a bunch of improv/sketch teams such as We Will Slay 2 (UCB), BoogieManja (The PIT), and Queer Window (The Squirrel Comedy Theater).
Feathers Wise
Feather’s song “I Am Not Afraid” was nominated for a Grammy in the Dance/Electronic Recording Category in 2022. It was Produced by Phil Carroll and Recording Artists Development.
Feathers Wise is an American transgender singer-songwriter and actress. Born in Novato, CA, she began writing music as a young teenager using her home-built PC and Scream Tracker 3. She studied music composition in College, and dropped out to transition. She found her voice singing at queer piano bars and around Radical Faerie fire circles. After many episodes of homelessness and marginal living, she landed in Brooklyn, NY in 2016 and was embraced by the diverse and vibrant social environment.
Feathers sang in Jean Grae’s Intersectionals Choir at Church of the Infinite You (2017), appeared on stage in Joel Escher and Blair Bodine’s musical Superhots! (2017), in Anna Wise’s music video “Stacking That Paper” (2017), in Chloé Rossetti’s short play “Planet Femme” (2017) and short film “SUNRIDER” (2018), in M-34’s Production of “Salome” (2018), in The Heat Collective’s Production of “The Night It Rained” (2018), and in Brandon Colvin’s feature film “A Dim Valley” (TBR 2019).
Rev. Yolanda
Rev. Yolanda is a trans femme gender queer singer songwriter and interfaith minister originally from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, “The Hit Recording Capital of the World”. She is influenced by the music of her hometown,as it intersects with the spiritual spectrum. All the way through her life, creating art that reflected her journey in all of its challenges and enlightenment, has been what she believes is hers to do in this lifetime.
Rev. Yolanda releases inspirational music at this challenging time in world history because she is choosing to RISE higher than ever before. She knows in her heart that many people across the globe are also choosing to RISE to co-create together a new human experience on this planet. One that values all life, because all life is ONE and EVERYTHING in life is HOLY.
This is the reason Rev. Yolanda makes music and offers her latest projects to you. This creative process has given her some Hope and Light, and she hopes it blesses you on your journey.

Wes Peddycord (they/she) is an actor/singer-songwriter based in NYC. She joined with RAD the summer of 2021 and with them finished recording and producing their first EP, send me a postcard.
