Blaise Vacca is an actor, comedian, and singer-songwriter from the Bronx who loves to connect through humor and vulnerability. They’ve been writing music for over a decade and studied studio composition at SUNY Purchase. Their songs meditate on themes of faith, queerness, and connection. Blaise is honored to have worked on their EP “The Earth Turns” with RAD under a Sylvia Rivera scholarship for trans/nb artists.

Blaise recently originated the role of Tyler in “Prospect Hill: A New Queer Musical” by Mark Galinovsky and Lily Ali-Oshatz dir. Jessi Hill (Piper Theater). They’re also a director with MOXIE: The Women, Trans, & Non-Binary Sketch Lab (Magnet Theater), and a performer with award-winning arts education group Story Pirates / a bunch of improv/sketch teams such as We Will Slay 2 (UCB), BoogieManja (The PIT), and Queer Window (The Squirrel Comedy Theater).

Blaise is so excited to finally release Capsized into the world! “Big thanks to Phil and RAD for their hard work and support!”

Congratulations and best wishes from everyone at RAD to Blaise Vacca for all your hard work and creativity on such an original and remarkably beautiful song!
