Dear Friend,
I hope you were able to attend and enjoy our wonderful RAD Zoom Benefit Concert November 6th. We had performances by quite a lineup of amazing artists who have been recording with RAD for years, as well as new artists doing brand new songs!
I’m posting this message today to ask for your help.
We are raising funds for our RAD scholarships and RAD is in need of a new state-of-the-art computer and updated software that will give us more options to record our artists and archive the wonderful music they create.
Since RAD became a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2003, we have served hundreds of deserving, underserved, emerging singer-songwriter recording artists, especially shining a light on the talent and unique message of our LGBTQ+, trans, non-binary artists!
We have been devoted to working with our amazing artists to arrange, produce and record their music in our safe-space recording workshops and to provide artistic and career development.
For the last ten years, we have given away an average of $10,000 a year in recording workshop scholarships to all our diverse artists, including our Sylvia Rivera scholarships for our LGBTQ+, trans, non-binary artists!
Through the hard work of our team, we have been able to stay operational. Since RAD became a 501(c)(3) non-profit, I, Luanne, Drew and Keter have donated our time, money and resources to serve our artists.
We need your support to continue our important work of providing top-notch production and record label services to underrepresented up-and-coming artists.
We plan on doing this work for another 20 years: serving more artists; providing scholarships, including our RAD Sylvia Rivera scholarships to the LGBTQ+, trans, and non-binary community; providing free artistic and career development consulting; providing our safe-space recording workshops for our artists, especially our LGBTQ+, trans and non-binary artists, to create and flourish; offering free in-person and online panel discussions, symposiums, performance opportunities, and more for all our wonderful artists!
Please be as generous as you can. Every small and large donation will help and is much appreciated.
Your tax-deductible donation will go directly to RAD scholarships and the $6,000 we need to raise for the new state-of-the-art computer and updated software.
This up-to-date system will give us excellent new options to work with and even greater technical power and artistic flexibility. With your help, we will take our work to a place of discovery that will be stunning!

Warmest wishes,
